Public Interest
Through the Carrico Center for Pro Bono Services, whether there is a specific area of law you want to learn more about or simply want to give back, there are myriad ways to do so while working with local lawyers. Public service is a hallmark of the Richmond Law community, with students annual contributing over 13,000 volunteer hours of legal services throughout the greater Richmond metro.
All our students are also guaranteed one summer of funding to work in a government or public sector position through the Summer Public Serivce Fellowships. New graduates intent on pursuing public interest law can also qualify for the Bridge to Practice Fellowship.
